This lot is sourced from the JUMARP Coop, situated in northern Peru in the Amazonian Andes. The coop originated in 2003 with 35 small farmers and has since expanded to include over 190 members. They currently cultivate around 550 hectares of organic and fair trade coffee. Notably, more than 20% of the coop's members are women. Recognizing a lack of female participation in decision-making processes, JUMARP established the Mujeres program. This initiative aims to enhance the social and economic status of women within the coop.
