Café Alma de Chiapas, formed in 2011, represents coffee producers in the El Triunfo biosphere reserve. Many of the producers have indigenous roots, with nearly a third being women who rely on coffee income to support their families.

Producers cultivate coffee on small farms, using micro-mills for processing. Only fully ripened cherries are selectively picked, washed, depulped, fermented, and dried.

Alma de Chiapas provides vital support, helping producers access credit, certifications, and essential infrastructure like roads, warehouses, and a dry mill. Their work ensures traceability, quality control, and improved livelihoods for the growers.
